Today I learned just how much easier it really is to control light in a studio. And just how advanced our phones’ camera settings are. It’s way more difficult to manage certain light effects with a DSLR, while your phone gives you really easy presets. The studio lighting was so much easier to get desired results with, the tripod was definitely a huge help as well. Because you can really take advantage of setting the shutter speed slow, and get rid of grain from having a high ISO, as well as apply different depths of field. Elsewhere though, camera-shake and grain are my worst enemies. In other words, Its very hard to achieve the clarity I desire, in the wild.
