So this week’s activity was to storyboard for a short video 45-60s, using 2-3 storyboard pages. When I went upstairs to get my bag with my pencil case and everything so I could start drawing my story board, I got inspired by the idea of opening up my locker to get my bag to get something out of it to then perform an action. All these actions and the title I chose “15 min break” should allude to the item I’m looking for without actually showing it. My lighter which is eventually blur-ily recorded at the end and cigarettes which aren’t seen at all. My recordings probably aren’t too good but the storyboarding was easy, probably because I wasn’t really strictly following the 10 shot rule but after recording a bunch of scenes I thought would be interesting I have enough content to fit the requirements of it. I wasn’t too worried about the quality of recording because I like the idea of it being somewhat choppy and messy, which is what the moments leading up to a smoke break which then eventual relief is felt at the end.
